Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, variable and rotating based on need. Candidates unable to meet this schedule should not apply.


Job Description

Seeking a CT Technologist to work variable 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Flexibility with shift times is required.


Required Qualifications

  • License: Valid CT Technologist license as required by California regulations.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
    • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
  • Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; ensure you meet standard CT Technologist experience requirements.
  • Training & Compliance:
    • Completion of sexual harassment prevention training valid for 2 years.
    • Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test) within 60 days of start.
    • Annual color-blind test.
    • Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite).
    • Immunizations and health requirements including COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses + booster or declination), MMR, Hepatitis B (no declinations accepted), Influenza vaccine (no declinations accepted during flu season), TB test within one year, Varicella immunity, Tdap vaccine (no declinations accepted).
    • Physical/Health statement annually, stating clearance to work.
  • Background Checks: National criminal background check within one year of start date.
  • Exams & Checklists:
    • Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
    • Skills Checklist (does not expire on assignment)
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license, state ID, or passport.
    • Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation).
    • Updated resume and two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor).
    • Signed current job description.
    • Badge photo (clear headshot with plain background).
