Overview

• Travel/contract role in Abilene, Texas.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Role Details

• Stepdown ICU assignment.
• May have low acuity ICU patients or high acuity tele patients on the unit.
• Will care for everything a regular ICU has except ventilated patients.
• On call once every 6 weeks.
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period.
• Start date within the next 3–5 weeks is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• NURSYS verification.
• 2 references within 3 years of start.
• Skills checklist.
• Resume/application.
• Background check.
• Education verification.
• Government-issued photo ID.
• E-Verify or attestation.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement.
• Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing.
• Pass/fail testing for telemetry nurses.
• Color blind testing.
• Physical exam.
