Pediatric Stepdown RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in New Haven, Connecticut.
3x12 night shifts, 19:00–7:00.
Average patient ratio: 1:3.
Start date: ASAP.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
Guaranteed hours: Yes.
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs.
Block scheduling: Not open to accommodating block schedule.
Locals accepted: No.
Pending license accepted: Yes, but must be active before the start date.
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.
On-call: Not required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
2 years of experience in Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit.
Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred

Travel experience is strongly preferred.
