Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Orangeburg, South Carolina
- Day shift: 5x8s, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Weekend coverage: every third weekend
- On-call required
- Traveler must stay within 30 minutes of the facility during call periods
- No floating required
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Call is approximately every third weekend from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM
- Some weekday call after 3:00 PM will also be required and shared with other Endoscopy nurses
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- Travelers may be assigned emergency response duties during hurricane season
