Overview

• Travel/contract role in South Hill, Virginia
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are allowed at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

• E-Verify/I-9 attestation
• Education verification
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Color blind testing
• Abuse reporting competency
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Physical exam within 1 year
• Fit mask test within 1 year
• Tdap vaccine or declination
• TB screening and questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Drug screening within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption, if starting after 9/1
• Confidentiality agreement
• Fingerprinting and CPS-related documentation may be required depending on assignment details and unit placement

Orientation / Onboarding

• Orientation includes unit modules and several tests for RNs
• Modules must be completed by the Friday of orientation week
• No onsite certification renewals are offered
