Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Chicago, Illinois
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
- Monday through Friday schedule
- No weekends or holidays
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Preoperative experience within the last year
- 1 year of preoperative experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- More than 1 year of Epic experience
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
Schedule / Unit Details
- Pre-op / recovery for a procedural area
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- 2 professional references, including 1 direct supervisor
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 fit testing within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB screening
- Drug screen
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Employment application
- Badge photo
- Signed fingernail policy
- Compliance checklists
- Online training modules before orientation
Additional Notes
- Instructor-led Epic training is required if the candidate does not have more than 1 year of Epic experience
