MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Omaha, Nebraska
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48 hours per week option available
• Travelers are first to float and may float frequently within scope, including to another campus
• Unit assignment is based on traveler experience; preferred unit can be requested at submission

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
• First-time travelers are not accepted, unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• EPIC charting experience
• Must be more than 100 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS

Work Environment

• Drips are required on all floors
• May be assigned to medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, PCU, trauma, neuro, oncology, observation, cardiac, transplant, or progressive care units
• May be assigned to a sister campus 16 minutes away

Scheduling Requirements

• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted and must be submitted with the application

• Pending license is accepted; if not in hand at submission, the start date will be scheduled 6 weeks out
• Government-issued photo ID required

• MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, tetanus/Tdap, COVID, and flu documentation or status requirements apply
