ICU RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: San Francisco, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 3x12s
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 25 weeks
- Assignment type: Float pool role; ICU RNs float to other ICUs, TCUs, ED, and PACU
- Floating expectation: Must be able to float to other facilities and departments within the health system
- RTO: Submit all requested time off at time of offer
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Critical Care Float experience (4 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 1 year or less of total travel experience in the past 5 years
- ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year
- Experience caring for ECMO patients as a bedside RN
- Experience caring for ECMO as primary responsibility without dedicated bedside perfusion support
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ECMO ICU experience
- CVICU experience
- CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience
- CCU - Coronary Care experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Ability to independently manage complex critical care patients
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
