Endoscopy RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day/Evening, 8-hour shifts
- Start times: Rotating between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
- Weekly schedule: 40 hours per week
- Call: Weeknight call required
- Shift expectation: May need to stay past the end of shift to finish the day’s schedule
Role Summary
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care across all levels, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery
- Perform moderate sedation in procedure
- Recover sedated GI and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy
- Some patients may receive general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience with Epic

- Telemetry testing is part of clearance before starting
