Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Harvey, Illinois
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Floating required
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling not available
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• RTO limit: 7 days maximum

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Medical-surgical experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 references
• Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
• Employment gaps longer than 30 days must be explained
• Skills checklist for the assigned unit and any units floated to
• Work history verification covering 7 years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Certification

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• Education verification
• NURSYS verification
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 2 business days of signing
• TB screening within 2 business days of signing
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Orientation modules before start
• Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption for the 2025–26 flu season
• COVID-19 religious or medical exemption form if applicable
