Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Marrero, Louisiana
• Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 48 hours per week
• Unit does not offer straight 3x12 schedules
• 1:6 ratio
• No on-call
• Float: yes
• Holidays: yes, at least 2 of 3 holidays
• Holiday blackout dates: 10/31, 11/26, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1
• RTO under 5 days or adding time to the end of the contract

Unit / Patient Population

• Neuro/Stroke patient population
• Vascular surgeries
• Multi-level back surgeries
• CABG
• ECMO

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic
• Neurology experience
• Experience working with Stroke patients
• Experience working with Neuro Trauma patients
• Experience working with Spinal Cord Injury patients
• Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
• Pre/Post Neuro Surgery care
• Traumatic Brain Injuries management

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI
