Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Adult Home Health setting)
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-timers accepted)
• Weekend Work: Required
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PT State License (must have license in hand)
  • Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, HIV, Med Errors, Alzheimer's Certification)
• Experience with:

  • EPIC system
  • CHARGE experience

Work Setting

• Adult home health care
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers

Special Requirements

• 2 professional references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisors, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31 - 3/31), with medical or religious exemptions accepted under strict guidelines
• Scrubs: Any solid color

Background and Compliance

• Background checks required within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including international searches
• Fingerprinting: Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance must be on file prior to start; travelers cannot start with fingerprints pending
• Education verification required; certain institutions are not accepted
• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start (required by Florida law for all patient-facing candidates)
• Fit mask test required within 12 months prior to start (strict policy on mask types and shaving)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
• Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (must include marijuana)
• Immunization titers required within 5 years for: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Annual TB questionnaire required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation required during flu season

Documentation

• Clear, passport-style photo for badge (solid white background, no filters)
• Auto insurance required for home health workers
• Facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgment, confidentiality agreement, values, and badge form must be completed
• Attestation letter to be completed by the recruiter for each candidate

Notes

• Guaranteed contracted hours
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions apply and must be finalized with submission
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific and state-specific requirements prior to start

This position is ideal for therapists with at least 1 year of experience in adult home health therapy who are comfortable working weekends and meeting comprehensive compliance and immunization requirements. Prior travel experience is not mandatory.
