Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Madera, California

Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric respiratory unit where patients may be on ventilators.
- Work with children requiring specialized respiratory support.
Required Experience
- Registered Nurse with relevant pediatric experience.
- Years of Experience Required: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN pediatric experience.
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA Healthcare Provider required for all clinical positions.

Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (required for Aya placements).
- Fit mask test required within 6 months of start; facility provides onsite testing if needed.
- Tdap vaccine required within years of start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility policy; updated every 2 years if contract extends.
- Required immunizations or titers: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 6 months of start.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-April).
- COVID vaccines preferred but not required as of May 2024.
- Respirator clearance or facility-specific respirator clearance form required (updated annually or biannually depending on placement type).
Competency Exams
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable (passing score 80%+).
- Other competency exams required as applicable to specialty.
