Job Details

• Shift: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• No on-call requirements
• No floating
• Holidays required
• Work Environment:

  • Level 2 trauma center servicing an inner-city community
  • Works closely with the Emergency Department
  • Procedures include general CT scans, angiograms, strokes, traumas, and interventional radiology (IR) procedure scanning
  • Equipment experience preferred with GE and Toshiba CT scanners
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
• Dress Code: Black scrub top and bottom; short white lab coat optional

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Trauma experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT certification

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted
• The CT department has 3 scanners: 2 GE units in the main CT area and 1 Toshiba unit in the Emergency Department
• Parking fees apply at the location (not included here)

• 2 professional references or evaluations required

Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for a CT Tech with at least 1 year of experience, including trauma experience, licensed in New Jersey. The role involves working in a busy trauma center with a focus on emergency and trauma-related CT procedures. Candidates must hold required certifications and meet health and background screening requirements. First-time travelers are welcome.
