Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery with immediate start (orientation 3-4 weeks out).

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with heart monitoring
• Preferred experience in Obstetrics and Mother-Baby/Postpartum care
• Required nursery experience for baby transitions
• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications Required

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) at time of submission
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum, Mother-Baby, Couplet Care

Work Details

• No on-call required
• No block scheduling accommodation
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including multiple nearby hospitals within 20 miles
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Pending license accepted

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Labor and Delivery experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
• Nursery experience
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Facility is smoke-free; no exceptions
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with application
• Candidates must be aware of and complete all required modules and documentation promptly to avoid delays
• Floating may include multiple hospital locations within a 20-mile radius
