Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Registered Nurse)
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a High Risk Obstetrics (OB) Unit
- Call requirement: Yes, as needed
- Float requirement: Yes, to Mother/Baby unit
- Weekend requirement: Yes, as needed
- Scrubs provided by the hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a teaching hospital setting
- Experience with 200-300 births per month
- Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
