Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Orthopedics
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Orthopedics)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
- Travel Experience: Previous travel experience required
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 3 years of Orthopedics nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Annual respirator fit testing (Fit Mask)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, with appropriate follow-up documentation if applicable
- TB Questionnaire required annually in lieu of TB test renewal
- 12 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days prior to start
- Influenza vaccination documentation or approved medical/religious exemption
- COVID-19 vaccination documentation or approved medical/religious exemption
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references required
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and training, including Healthstream courses and system access agreements
- Compliance with confidentiality agreements
This position is a backfill opportunity in Orthopedics and requires a dedicated, experienced RN with prior travel contract experience.
