Night shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Total 36 hours per week

Adults to Geriatrics

Unit and Work Environment

Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Diagnoses include CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5
Unit size: 36 rooms, average daily census of 35
Electronic Health Record system: Epic (required)
Other systems: Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub color: Navy Blue

Schedule and Work Expectations

Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
Weekend work: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes, within facility and scope of practice as needed
Call: None
Holiday work: If one major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it; if two, expected to work both; if three, expected to work two
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system
