Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Beaumont, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Schedule:

• Weekdays: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (every other weekend required)
• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Call: Not required
• Floating: As needed within scope

Job Requirements

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Current Texas license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC, AHA, or U.S. Department of Defense accepted)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC) as applicable

Compliance and Documentation

• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during work hours)
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check (all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (updated every contract renewal)
• Physical exam verifying ability to meet job demands (initial and annual)
• Drug screening:

  • 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 30 days to 12 months of start date
• Immunizations and health requirements:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years preferred)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or per facility protocol)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: proof of immunity by titer or 2 vaccines
  • Hepatitis B: titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella: titer or 2 vaccines
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required for 2025-2026 season (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation; declinations require mask wearing)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions require facility-specific forms

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable (including medication/pharmacology competency)
• Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements and emergency contact forms must be completed prior to start

Notes

• Locals are not allowed for this position
• Prior travel experience is not required
• Floating may be required within the scope of practice
• No weekend call required

This position offers a structured night shift schedule with every other weekend required and a 7-on/7-off rotation, ideal for those seeking consistent blocks of time off.
