Registered Nurse — Travel/Contract

Contract Length

• 26 weeks

Shift

• Night shift, 3x12 hours: 19:00–07:00

Hours

• 36 hours per week
• 48-hour option available

Required Qualifications

• Active Nebraska RN license or pending license accepted
• BLS certification
• 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
• EPIC charting experience
• Must be willing to float frequently within scope
• Must be able to work in a unit assigned by the facility based on experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Schedule Requirements

• Work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
• Up to 2 weeks of requested time off may be permitted

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are not accepted, unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Travelers may be assigned to the sister campus, which is 16 minutes from the main campus
• Drips are required on all floors
• Locals are not accepted; candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Facility is 100% nicotine free
• Scrubs are required and must be Steele gray with the logo printed on the back
• Parking is available for a monthly permit or daily rate
• Government-issued photo ID is required
• 2 references from work within the past 2 years are required
• Annual skills checklist is required
