Overview

• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday

• First-time travelers: Accepted with 2 years of experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Government-issued photo ID
• 2 professional references
• Employment application
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Ability to complete required background checks and screenings
• Ability to complete required health documentation and immunization requirements
• Ability to complete required facility education/modules before start

• CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, and enterography
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Radiation safety
• Starting peripheral IVs
• Venipuncture
• 3D rendering
• Multiplanar reconstruction

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, high-volume CT department
• 2 CT scanners
• Tech assistant available
• Minimum of 2 designated CT techs per shift is desirable

Required Pre-Start Items

• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 fit mask within 1 year of start
• Tdap within the last 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccination record preferred
• Facility policy reviews and required education modules
