Job Description

• Work on an Adaptive Acuity Unit; may be asked to provide PCU care (3:1 ratio) on occasion (non-negotiable).
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
• 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Drip experience is required.
• PCU experience is strongly required.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Traveler must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.
• Small critical access facility experience preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of current med surg/tele experience required.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required (non-negotiable).
• ICU experience strongly preferred.

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing

• Must hold a current Vermont nursing license.

• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required.

Notes

• This is a critical access hospital with 24-hour emergency care and a variety of inpatient and outpatient services.
• Prior travel experience is mandatory for this role.
