Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
• Physical Therapy Assistant (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting

Job Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Perform treatment procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive or assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate treatment adjustments to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document required clinical information in the electronic documentation system
• Record treatment minutes accurately
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Help obtain necessary DME or supplies with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Follow APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
