Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Job Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required.

• Certifications:

  • Active NBSTSA certification required at time of submission.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Certifications must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Licensing:

  • Must have a valid driver's license (not Arizona-based).
  • Verification of license must show no hits or issues at time of submission.

• Vaccinations:

  • Flu vaccination required (declinations can be applied for). Vaccination status must be included in submission notes.

• Return to Office (RTO):

  • RTO requests will not be approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays.
  • RTO cannot exceed 7 days.

• Background and Compliance:

  • Must adhere to specific background requirements and attest to compliance immediately.

• Submission Requirements:

  • Complete Banner Cover Page with all requested information.
  • Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
  • Skills checklist specific to Operating Room discipline required.
  • Driver’s license copy required.

• Travel Experience:

  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Notes

• Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered.
• Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
• All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly listed in the submission.
• Candidates should be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
