Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

• 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
• Patient population includes STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery ICU patients, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, etc.
• Patient ratio: 1:4

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience: At least 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) experience required
• Float experience to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds is required
• Flexibility required; no block scheduling
• Required certifications (not specified) preferred but applicants without active copies may still be considered

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
• On-call pay provided with minimum 1-hour payout
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted pay rate
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends
