Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights

Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota

Shift: Nights (heavy nights and weekends)

Job Description

• Provide holistic nursing care across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults.
• Perform independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions following nursing standards and competencies.
• Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and delegate activities appropriately.
• Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
• Promote and improve practice standards and the care environment through leadership and active participation.
• Duties and required clinical skills may vary by assigned unit.
• Must be willing to float to Medical ICU, CVICU, or Trauma/Neuro ICU.
• Preferred to pick up at least 1 shift per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Galaxy Blue Scrubs.
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours.
• Strict compliance deadline for onboarding paperwork (4 pm Wednesday before start date) with no exceptions.
• Candidates with negative background or employment history are not eligible for expedited processing.
• Clinical interview process includes outreach within two hours and decisions typically made same day or next business day.
