Job Description

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician supervision.
• Use ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing medical conditions across all patient age groups.
• Float between four locations within the system, each with 2 ultrasound rooms.
• Average of approximately 10 cases per day, varying by location.
• Call schedule includes every 5th weekend and one weekday evening.
• Orientation and training provided with the department coordinator.
• Dress code: light blue scrubs.
• Clinician will always have a colleague present during shifts.

Equipment & Systems

• Phillips ultrasound machines.
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an ultrasonographer in an acute care hospital setting.
• ARMDS-RDMS (AB) certification with OB-GYN specialty required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Certification in neonatal neurosonography or pediatric sonography.
• Recent experience with Epic EMR (within the past 12 months).
• Experience with Phillips ultrasound equipment.

• Candidate should ideally live within 50 miles of the facility.
