12-hour day/night rotating shifts
Self-scheduling
Weekends as needed

Unit Overview

Medical-surgical/pediatrics unit
17 beds total: 14 inpatient and 3 observation
Adult and pediatric patients, including UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS certification
PALS certification

Key Responsibilities

Float to ED/ICU for 1:1s as needed
Apply telemetry to patients and read strips
Assist with occasional BiPAP managed primarily by respiratory therapy

Additional Details

No clinical involvement
Navy blue scrubs
1 unit-specific orientation shift, or one day and one night if needed
RTO must be provided upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
Radius rule: 50 miles
