CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Travel Contract
Location: Enumclaw, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a hospital radiology department. The role primarily covers night shifts and requires independent work during graveyard hours.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Nights (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week (Tues-Thurs and Fri-Sat, rotating) plus floating shifts
- Hours per shift: 12 hours
- Total hours per week: 36
- Holiday: Work if holiday falls on scheduled shift
- No call or standby required
Department & Equipment
- Department: Radiology - CT and General X-Ray
- Equipment:
- Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner
- Carestream X-ray room
- Brand new GE Portable X-ray
- Imaging performed:
- CT: With/without contrast of Head, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, CTA PE, Runoff, Extremities
- General X-Ray: Chest, PICC line placement, Tube placement, Trauma fractures of extremities
- Average scans per night: 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays
- EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and McKesson PACS
- Radiologist coverage: In-house Mon, Wed, Fri 8 AM – 5 PM; otherwise teleradiology
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification in CT
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Ability to work independently as the sole CT/X-ray technologist during graveyard shifts (only staff member between 11 PM – 7 AM)
Additional Information
- Scrubs: Wear scrubs of your choosing (not provided)
- Orientation: EPIC training required in Tacoma; one week on-site training provided
- Department size: 1 CT scanner, 1 X-ray room, 1 portable X-ray unit
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) support available
This opportunity is ideal for a CT Technologist comfortable working independently overnight in a hospital radiology setting with a variety of imaging responsibilities.
