Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• Experience with dialysis patients
• Cardiac skills
• Tele
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend
• Holidays required
• Floating required; everyone floats to Tele units

Preferred Qualifications

• PCU/ICU experience

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
• Centralized scheduling

Unit Details

• Common patient types include heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis, and general medical patients
• RN titration of a few low-dose dopamine drips
• Charge nurse/house supervisor: yes
• Nurse aides present, with 10–12 patients per aide
• RN does not read strips; techs monitor EKG strips for the hospital
• Scrub color/dress code: any professional colors
• Orientation: 1–2 days

Floating

• Primary assignment is to St Anne Hospital
• May float throughout Region One to:

  • St. Francis Hospital – Federal Way, WA
  • Virginia Mason Medical Center – Seattle, WA
  • St. Anne Hospital – Burien, WA

Additional Notes

• Clinical profile review required before interview
• Travelers floated within Region I to a non-primary facility receive an additional $20/hour
