Physical Therapist (Pediatric Outpatient) - Colorado, Fort Morgan

Job Details

• Specialty: Pediatric Physical Therapy (Outpatient)

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM)
• Weekly Hours Guarantee: 36 hours guaranteed, up to 40 hours as needed
• Schedule: Flexible; clinicians schedule their own patients with blocked time for inpatient evaluations and documentation
• Weekend Requirements: Very occasional weekend on-call
• Holiday Requirements: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual

Patient Population & Work Environment

• Treats approximately 8-10 patients per day
• Mostly outpatient setting with potential for early intervention and occasional assistance with inpatient acute care
• Patient diagnoses commonly include developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions
• Facility includes a warm water therapy pool

Orientation & Onboarding

• Department-specific orientation during the first week, Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM
• Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote
• Must submit a valid driver’s license (radius requirement: 60 miles)

Required Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Some pediatric physical therapy experience required

Additional Information

• Supervision provided by a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support staff includes a pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
