Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery Nurse (Travel Assignment)
Location: Homer, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery) independently in a rural hospital setting.
- Float to Med Surg and Acute Care settings as needed, including ICU.
- Must have Med Surg experience.
- Hospital averages 120 births per year.
- Patient ratios: 1:1 in Labor & Delivery, 2:1 in couplet care.
Requirements
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
- Years of experience: Not specified, but must be able to work independently in OB and have Med Surg experience (implies solid clinical experience)
