Registered Nurse - Clinic

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

The Clinic RN provides comprehensive clinical nursing care including:

  • Patient assessments
  • Administering medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Triage patient communications
  • Delivering interventions aligned with individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review participant-centered care plans
  • Coordinating participant care by communicating changes in condition and supporting smooth transitions post-visit
  • Educating participants, families, and caregivers on chronic disease management
  • Reviewing provider documentation to reconcile orders, medication changes, and follow-up needs

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 3 years of recent hospital nursing or other acute care experience (home health and/or clinic experience preferred)
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado, maintained throughout employment
  • Ability to set priorities, manage competing demands, and consistently follow through
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in stressful situations
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work from the office while performing telephone-based triage duties
