Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night and evening shifts. This is a Level 3 Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke receiving capabilities. The ED has 31 beds including 5 resuscitation bays, with an average daily volume of 100+ patients, approximately 15% pediatric.

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts with start times varying between 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 7:00 PM
• Orientation week is not subject to a 36-hour guarantee
• Up to 36 hours of call off available during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred
• Experience in trauma nursing
• Strong knowledge of pediatric patient care

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing specialty (Emergency Department/Trauma)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
