Nursing Contract Opportunity - Columbia, Missouri

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
Closely monitor vital signs, manage pain and nausea.
Assess for complications and side effects.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care.
Coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg or PACU.
Minimum 1 year traveler experience.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Will train on MediTech electronic health record system.

Schedule

Days, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each.
No call, no weekends.

Additional Information

The facility may downstaff travelers 36/48 hours during the 13-week contract based on weekly schedule.
