Job Overview
- Float pool role covering all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac patients.
- May also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels.
- Patient ratio: 1:3-4.
- Minimal requested time off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Float (2 years of experience)
- Float experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Clinical Focus
- STEMI
- NSTEMI
- CTS
- Chest pain
- Cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors.
