Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Evening shift, 5x8s: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)


Job Description

  • Work in the Operating Room with general surgical cases including Robotics, Gynecology, and Urology.
  • Circulating nurse experience is required.
  • Typical call schedule includes 4-5 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts per month (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM).
  • Must be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of a callback.
  • Scrubs are provided.
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Minimum 2 years of OR circulating nurse experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience in Urology cases

Shift Details

  • Evenings, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM).
  • Call shifts as described above.
