Number of beds: 24 bays
Typical staff on day shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
EMR system used: Meditech
Floating area: Phase II recovery
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
Call: Rotated on-call schedule, including weekends

Job Description

Provide post-anesthesia recovery care
Work within unit guidelines and policies

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
