Registered Nurse - Rapid Response (Travel)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 48 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Medical ICU (MICU)
Number of Beds: 26
Number of Staff: 65
Patient Ratios: Approximately 2:1 (not guaranteed)
Equipment: CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
EMR System: Meditech / CPNT

Job Description

Rapid response role in a critical care setting
No return to office (RTO) or special scheduling required
Caps needed after acceptance

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Acute Care experience
Rapid Response experience and competencies
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech EMR experience
Experience traveling to large trauma facilities
Skills in Sono IV and CRRT

Typical Procedures

Moderate sedation
Hemodynamic monitoring
Airway management

Work Environment & Culture

Day shift includes Charge RN, RN, and Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Emphasis on teamwork, coachability/adaptability, and positive attitude
