Overview

• Travel RN position in Saint Louis, Missouri
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 2 openings
• Auto-offer position

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS certification from AHA only
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Inpatient experience only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for travelers from November 1 to April 1

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• May be floated to other units based on staffing needs
• Call not required

Unit Details

• Med Surg unit with 30 beds
• Typical patient ratio: 1:6-7
• Patient population includes GI, GU, wound care, acute withdrawal, altered mental status, dialysis/ESRD, and minor surgical cases

Work Environment

• Uses the nursing process to provide direct patient care across all age groups
• High physical demands, including standing and walking most of the shift, bending, stooping, lifting, turning patients with assistance, and exposure to blood and body fluids
• May need to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 15 lbs

Preferred

• ACLS certification from AHA only

Additional Notes

• Black scrubs required
• EPIC is used on the unit
