CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
750-bed hospital with a busy CT department averaging ~130 scans per day
Staffing: 24/7 coverage with lead tech plus three techs on dayshift, split shift 9a-9p, and one night shift tech (7p-7a)
Equipment: GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, FUJI Synapse
EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

CTA chest, neck, abdomen
CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program)
CT head with stroke protocol

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GE scanners
Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Work Environment & Culture

Collaborative team environment that works well with other departments
Dependable and prompt professionals preferred
Dress code: Black scrubs (not provided)

This is a travel assignment in a large, busy trauma and stroke center with a supportive team atmosphere.
