Travel assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
6-week assignment
48 guaranteed hours per week
Adult unit
22 beds
Trauma Level I
5:1 and 6:1 patient ratios
Float if needed, but rare

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Med Surg experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg experience
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Swallow Screen
Neuro experience is ideal

Unit Details

Floor: 8 Rose
Common diagnoses/treatments include CVA, TIA, inability to ambulate, seizure, common urinary, common respiratory, and rarely cardiac
Equipment includes Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, and cardiac monitors
EPIC is used
Weekend schedule: 2 of 4 weekends per schedule, or 4 of the 8 weekend shift days; straight weekends may be considered if preferred by the candidate

Additional Notes

Will take a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation
Orientation is weekly on Mondays
Scrub color: any
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, shirts with wording/pics, and facial piercing
