Overview
- Travel assignment in Fort Worth, Texas
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Location is next to the OR
- Unit has 26 beds
- Patient ratio is 1:2
- On-call only
- Cannot approve block scheduling
- Varied shift times, including 10-hour shifts and some 9a–9p shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Unit Details
- Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse and usually a float nurse
- Night shift staffing is closed on call with 2 PACU nurses
- Typical procedures include general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, vascular, and other surgical procedures
- Floating area: Day Surgery
- Unit follows ASPAN Guidelines
