Job Description

Seeking an MRI Technologist to join a multi-modality imaging unit. The facility is a high-acuity hospital with advanced imaging services including MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures. The unit uses GE equipment and Cerner EMR.

Unit Information

Staff on unit: 9
Day Shift example staffing: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Equipment: GE MRI systems
EMR system: Cerner
Dress code: Black scrubs
Weekend schedule: Rotating weekends
On-call: Rotating weekends

Typical Procedures

MRI Contrast and Non-Contrast imaging
Breast MRI experience preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
HHCCA - De-Escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI

Additional Notes

Candidates must be MRI registered to be considered.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy, well-equipped imaging department with a supportive team environment.
