Job Description
- Provide dialysis nursing care on two campuses with dialysis units:
- Regional campus: 8 dialysis bays, bedside and peritoneal dialysis, hours Monday-Saturday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with call on Sundays and after hours.
- Northport campus: 5 dialysis bays, bedside and peritoneal dialysis, hours Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, with call on other days and after hours.
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
- Work schedule includes holidays as required and every other weekend.
- Nurses and Certified Dialysis Techs prepare and perform dialysis treatments.
Requirements
Education & Licenses
- Associate degree in nursing required.
- Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- Certification in AHA BLS or Red Cross required.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- At least 1 year of dialysis nursing experience required.
- Professional Nursing Certification preferred.
Other
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
- Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.
Additional Information
- Clinical position, patient-facing.
- EMR system: Meditech.
- Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Parking available.

- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
