Surgical Technologist (CVOR) - Travel Position

Location: Rogers, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: As needed by facility

Job Description

• Participate in perioperative patient care by maintaining sterile fields, obtaining supplies and equipment, and upholding patient safety standards.
• Assist the registered nurse during the intraoperative period.
• Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepare the operating suite adequately for procedures.
• Monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CVOR Technologist license in Arkansas.
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program, LPN program, or comparable education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Multilingual skills.
• Experience in ophthalmology or eye procedures.

Additional Information

• Dress code includes black scrubs.
• No weekend hours required.
• No float requirements.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Notes for Candidates
