Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) – Per Diem, Inpatient (Days)

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 8
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders.

• Deliver direct therapeutic intervention and education to help patients strengthen communication.

• Services include:

  • Adult and pediatric speech therapy
  • Swallowing evaluation and treatment
  • Speech and language evaluation and treatment
  • Cognitive evaluation and retraining
  • Modified barium swallow
  • Neurological disorder therapy

• Position is per diem; local travelers will be considered.

• Call, call-back, and charge responsibilities are not applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current Speech and Language Pathology experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment, including language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs.
• Must have own vehicle for travel to the facility.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Speech Language Pathology current within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience of at least 6 months is highly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
