Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Charlevoix, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work under the supervision of department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader.
- Assist staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients following established hospital procedures.
- Provide superior performance contributing positively to patient and family experience.
- Demonstrate understanding of patient and family-centered care.
- Strict attendance policy: 3 strikes for absence or being more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate termination (exceptions for communicable disease or hospitalization with evidence). Policy effective starting 6/1/2024.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Long Term Care (LTC).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Michigan LTC fingerprinting is a plus but not mandatory.
Additional Notes
- Local traveler policy applies for those living within 35 miles of the facility.
- Overtime, holiday, and callback shifts have specific rate markups (not included here).
