Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Patient types include Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.
Work 12-hour night shifts.

Schedule & Orientation

Orientation dates available from June through December (multiple sessions).
Typical workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system

Additional Information

Night shift position in ICU.
Floating within the same discipline may be required.
Patient care involves critical care populations including cardiac, trauma, and neurological cases.
