Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Must have Alaska RN license in hand for auto offer
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of specialty experience (Acute Care experience required)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACM (Acute Care Management) certification preferred
- Skills:
- Must have Epic electronic health record experience
- Acute Care experience required
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator clearance required annually for travel candidates
- Fit mask testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required
Training and Competency Requirements
- Must complete Providence Health and Services annual regulatory modules via WorkRamp LMS
- Specialty-specific and regional modules required as assigned
- Epic training modules required and must be completed prior to moving to permanent documentation workflow
- Medication and competency exams as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
- Pending licenses are not accepted for auto offer; Alaska RN license must be in hand
- Only one time off request allowed during assignment, no holiday time off for auto offer
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
